Re: Chassis No. 34-GN
C.R.Fairey, Esq.

We have recently asked Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} to approve of a Works Policy debit of £20.8.8d. for attention to overoiling etc. on this car, and he has replied as under:-

"I note the car was returned because of engine over-oiling and should be interested to know why this matter was not attended to when the car was with you previously because the question of excessive oil consumption was one of the points specifically referred to in Mr.Fairey's letter to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} of the 23rd. December.
Yet in the list of work being done to the car under Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}10/MJ20. 2.32. this does not appear to be referred to. Perhaps you would ascertain from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}"

Kindly let us have your remarks to enable us to reply.
