Ph.III - Stiffened Clutch Pressure plate.

We have had an opportunity of examining the stiffened pressure plate in 32-EX after running about 1,500 miles, including clutch tests, on Green Bank. There is no measurable distortion.

We have had an old type pressure plate which had been stress released prior to final gridding running in 33-EX. This distorted by .007, so that it appears we were justified in adopting the thicker plate.
