The weight of one rear road complete with tyre is 141 lbs, as compared with an ordinary wood wheel fitted with Dunlop tyre - 90 lbs With reference to the main le plus fitted with Michelin tyre which we have had running on the front wheels of the 1290 car for 6000 miles, the weight of the wheel complete with tyre is 141 lbs. The tyres now fitted to the front wheels have run for 3000 miles and are still in fairly good condition. We will report further on these when the tyres give out. E.P. | ||
