VICE-CHAIRMAN T.C.SKINNER, M.I.A.E. MANAGING DIRECTOR ADDERLEY PARK, BIRMINGHAM, 8. YOUR REF: OUR REF: TCS/DR May 12th 1939 C.T.S, See me. File W.A.Robotham Esq., Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. Dear Mr.Rowbotham, I am in receipt of your letter of the 11th inst. and note your remarks. By all means retain the carburetter, and in the meantime I am also putting through a Bentley carburetter with this particular control. As regards the various points raised in your letter, I should be very pleased to have an opportunity of discussing these but I think it would be advisable for someone to come to these works for the purpose. Why don't you come yourself? Regarding the freezing, we quite anticipated trouble with this and took considerable pains to try and find a remedy. Actually, however, we have not had a single complaint of it causing trouble, and as this particular type of carburetter has been fitted to the 25 h.p. Wolseley since its inception, it would have been bound to crop up sooner or later. In any case, of course, I should be very interested to know what you have done to obviate this trouble. Kind regards, Yours sincerely, [Signature] | ||
