To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} c. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} 600a Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}5/MH.{M. Huckerby}3.1.38. 26.G.VI SPECIFICATION. There seems to be some doubt as to what brake lining is intended for this car. The lining wanted is Thermoid D.35.I.H. front and rear. We can supply the Thermoid lining for the rear brakes; the front is already fitted. Since drawing up the specification a piece drawing of the Thermoid rear brake lining has been made, it's number is GW.1892. It is intended that it shall be cut in two when tipping shoes are used. The holes to be drilled as for BZ. lining. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} | ||
