To FN. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to BJ. COPY. X457 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/LG31.8.26. LARGE SECTION TYRES. X4565 You will see by our memo. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG31.8.26 we are recommending the use of low pressure tyres. We should therefore like to fit up 8-EX car which we are sending to you for trial. with these tyres. We will make sure before the car leaves that it is free from the risk of high speed wobbles. We are convinc ed{J. L. Edwards} that we have got to come to low pressure tyres. Our competitors - Bentley, Daimler and Panhard are using them and unless we do the same we shall be left behind on such essential points as - riding quality and reliability of chassis and body over bad roads. We recommend you fit up the cars which you have with you with hydraulic dampers, with low pressure tyres. We want the experience of trying a number of different cars with these tyres.
