F.L. Manning, Esq.,
Messrs. Hooper & Co. (Coachbuilders) Ltd.,

S.W.1.

Dear Manning,

Many thanks for your letter.

Our Cashier insists on my sending you back your I.O.U. with the official amount of red tape.

With regard to other queries, I have written to Greenwood, who is still away from Staffordshire, but I am told he will write to me on his return.

We have not so far received any grouse from Scotland.

Yours sincerely,
