Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/KT.13.6.31. 87410 85410 SPRINGING OF R.R. CARS. We now have a wide range of springing on both the 40/50 and 25 HP. cars. If full advantage is to be taken of the range available it is essential that the requirements of the customer should be passed on to the department responsible for issuing the spring specification for each particular chassis. Unless this is done, either the customer will be dissatisfied or considerable expense incurred in the changing of the springs to suit his taste. we raise this point because even whilst we had only one standard of spring we were not free from such troubles. The ideal situation would be for representative types of springing to be available, for the customers to try at the time of placing the order. Whilst this is doubtless impossible, it should still be feasible to classify customers from their own statements and so ensure that they get what they want. We consider that the range available covers everything that is likely to be required. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
