Sidgreaves - MD}9/E19.9.34 ardize You will remember that, when we were discussing modifications, you said that Item 3 of Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/KW.25.7.34 had been cleared for standardisation but it was not intended to standardise it but to retain it for special cases. On thinking the matter over, it occurred to me that we should like to try a car fitted up with this higher compression head, with a view to seeing how much better or worse a car it makes it. If it is already fitted to one of your experimental cars, would you let us have it to try; if not, could you fit it to one of them?
