BY c. HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Leslie Swift 300 E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner}1/HP.18.2.37. Phantom III- Oil Level Indicator. The cork level indicator made to design LeC.5440 came out too light in weight at the float end, and 1/4 oz. had to be added to make the calibration right. Our proposal is to make the lever arm in mild steel instead of aluminium, which will give us the amount required, and at the same time make it more robust mechanically. All the other parts are unchanged. We show a new lever arm on LeC.5506 herewith. Drawing to BY.{R.W.
