M.S. De/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} C. Des. c. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. 1044 840 BY.4/G.29.3.38. Minute No/500 BENTLEY 50 - RADIATOR, SHELL AND GRILL. The radiator shell and grill are already under consideration, these are being produced by Messrs. Marstons instead of as in the case of the Bentley by producing a wooden form at Park Wards, and then working up a castiron former from this in the Experimental Department. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. has supplied the detail drawings to Messrs. Marstons, who will produce a special former and then work up the shell and the grill. The shell and grill will be used on the mock-up in London for the Bentley 50 appearance, and then returned to Derby for the first Bentley 50 chassis. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
