We are proposing to fit one of the small original peregrine carburetters to Lec.3157. to this car with the distance between the throttle centre and induction pipe being increased by 1.750". We attach a sketch V.1487 showing how we have done this, and the induction pipe which is used. We think that rather than make another distance piece to V.1534 we can with advantage incorporate it in a common casting with the throttle body E.100914. This will also enable the heat to be brought slightly nearer the throttle and more generous gas passages to be utilised. Will you please arrange the carb. on per.5 like this (which is possible now that the steering box has been moved). Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
