To DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} from B.J. Comparative Tests of Chassis. BJ2/S5.12.19.
-----------------------------------------

With reference to DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}15/CB3.12.19 - the results of these tests is so much a matter of policy which should be decided quickly that CJ was anxious for the results to be available as soon as possible.

We must at once inform customers either that we absolutely prohibit the use of high compression engines on closed cars. or we must decide to allow them to do so.

I appreciate that the Testing Department has many experiments just now, but every day is of importance in obtaining results of these chassis tests, and so soon as the roads are in a fit condition, please therefore have the tests made.

BJ.
