SECRET. ORIGINAL. TO [REDACTED] FROM DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}3/21.12.31. XJ553 COPY TO [REDACTED] HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FRAME, TRANSMISSION LINE, ETC. B.2. We send herewith N.Sch.3395, showing the outline of the frame, front and rear springs and the transmission centre-line, which were approved by "H" before he left. The front and rear axles, the petrol tank, the spring fittings and the road springs are identical with Peregrine, with the exception of the cambers of the latter. Adequate clearances have been left over the axles for liberal bumps because we do not know exactly what degree of flexibility we shall require for the springs.
