Comparison of the performance and limitations between a Grav-vac and an Autovac fuel delivery system.

| contd :- -2- The reason for this is that the Grav-vac draws in 80 cc's of petrol per cycle as against 42 cc's in the Autovac. The Autovac can be and has been made to increase its delivery by using a float which is loose on its spindle thus increasing its stroke and consequently increasing the volume of petrol delivered per cycle. The Autovac delivery curves are those obtained with no restriction in the suction line in order to compare equally with the Grav-vac tank. We can find no conditions under which the Grav-vac is superior to the Autovac; we know all the failings and limitations of the Autovac - the Grav-vac has all these and in addition others which are not present in the Autovac.
