The design adaptation of an auto switch unit for a long type distribution board and switchbox.

X.4008 This will confirm that you will be booking into the question of the design of the auto switch unit to render this adaptable to the long type distribution board, of which we have one or two available for the purpose. In regard to the switchbox to operate on this scheme this should be internally of the old std. Phantom type, providing the positions OFF; B; M,B & C, and M & C, but with this exception that it should be arranged to give the extended armature contact in the B position, the reason for this has been carefully considered. We should be pleased if you would look into the question of modifying the switchbox accordingly. At the same time externally it will be like the S.S. as regards the casing and tail. EFC. | ||
