STD Re: Car Heaters. les th Ry/sm Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.7/JH.12.12.38. We are looking into the question of cost of this particular scheme and meanwhile we are wondering whether it is possible to introduce a similar scheme on the Phantom III Chassis. As you are aware, the necessary parts required in connection with the fitting of a heater to a Phantom III chassis are more expensive than those referred to for incorporating a Heater on either the Wraith or Bentley chassis, for the reason that in addition to the taps and adaptor we are compelled to change the Water Pump End Cover. We do not know whether Adaptors, similar to those referred to in the scheme aforesaid, can be utilised for the Phantom III chassis, but no doubt you will look into the whole question. G/Rb{R.
