A.H.R. Fedden. B-189-AE.

Replying to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}9/E.19.2.35.

There is no question of the special hubs and pivots having anything to do with the wobble. If, however, the cycle type wings are going to be removed we should fit standard pivots, as it would remove any possible complication in dealing with the brake squeaks to know that this car was the same as all the others.

With regard to lending him a car, we have not a car that we can spare for three weeks, and in addition such cars as we have are fitted with non-standard parts, which of course Fedden would notice. We would therefore prefer not to have to fix him up.
