| x262 W/P - Sr. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}14/KW.11.5.36. Re Le Mans. As you know, we should very much like to run aluminium brake drums on Hall's car. The working diameter of these is unaltered from the existing chassis, i.e., 12". Can you possibly find out for us, and have in writing from the necessary authority, whether it would be inorder to use these drums (1) without any intention to standardise them, (2) with the intention to standardise them, (3) by showing our intention to standardise them by having 30 sets in the Works. If only we could get an agreement in writing to run these parts we should feel quite happy about putting them on this car, so please do your best.
