6 "CORNICHE" CHASSIS.

Regarding the special larger diameter inlet valves EW.1429 for the above units which we understand are likely to be outstanding and hold up the completion of the units, the units in question should be completed with standard B.V. heads and valves until such time that the EW.1429 inlet valves are ready.

As the machining out of the inlet valve throats in the heads is not a long operation, the standard heads as fitted could be removed and this carried out when the EW.1429 valves are available.

The same stipulation has been necessary with the special increased capacity induction system with larger 1 3/4 S.U. Carbs in that a standard B.V. system should be temporarily fitted until the former is ready.
