CAR RADIO

During the past three or four years, the leading Radio Manufacturers both of this country and of America have seriously applied their resources to perfecting radio receivers for use in the motor car, and to-day it is possible to listen to broadcast programmes whilst travelling, with the same degree of comfort as when listening at home.

In accordance with the progressive policy of this Company these developments have been closely followed, and N.R.S. Ltd. were one of the very first radio concerns to organise a special department with the facilities and equipment necessary effectively to handle car radio installations and deal with their peculiar difficulties.

N.R.S. Ltd. are the manufacturers and patentees of the well-known and widely used "Natrasco" Auto-Aerials, and the "Autorez," which is a simple little appliance which makes it possible to operate a 6 volt receiver from a 12 volt battery without harming the battery.

The one point upon which satisfactory results with a car radio depends is that of correct installation. If this is not done results will be poor, generally, and the few stations received will be almost blotted out by the noise picked up by the receiver from the ignition system, and reproduced by the Speaker. To ensure satisfaction the aerial system employed must be located outside the field of radiated interference, and its design must be such as to ensure maximum aerial pick-up.

THE NATRASCO PATENT AUTO-AERIALS fulfil these requirements, and actually provide a 25% increased signal strength over running board and other types of car aerials.

N.R.S. Ltd. carry out all Car Radio Installations in their Central London garage, just off Russell Square, and a large staff is available always.
