S/W....Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} -> c. to Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} ------ 361 C1/C3.1.38 Re 3.AX.193....S.Harris. You will see from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry{Shadwell Grylls}4/AP17.12.37 that the Experimental Dept. have a pair of rear axle gears which have the effect of increasing the gear ratio by 8% and Mr.Harris is very keen on having these. Mr.Harris has only done about 2,000 miles on this car and we have agreed that he shall pay £5 for the change. The car will be driven up to you today by one of Br's leading hands who is going to Derby for two or three days tuition and the idea is that this same man should bring the car back again to London. Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} does not want him to stay at the Works longer than three days, so perhaps you will make a point of changing the gears in the axle in the three days. If there is any difficulty about this will you please let me know. 9/35 from London to Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} 4/1/38 C, | ||
