Dear Sirs,

For the attention of W.A.Robotham Esq.

We have to acknowledge receipt of your telegram of Saturday last and also would confirm the subsequent telephone conversation, when it was arranged that we should post you to-day two spare pistons to E.84546, in response to your request. Accordingly, these are going forward to you to-day and we trust they will reach you safely and in good condition.

In the meantime, we trust you will return to us the piston reported cracked, as we are extremely anxious to determine whether this is a mechanical or metallurgical defect.

Yours faithfully,
pp THE LIGHT PRODUCTION CO.LTD.
C.H.P. Brooks
GENERAL MANAGER.
