- 3 - Continued : It is also of interest that my own 3½ Litre Bentley B-69-EJ completed 72 thousand miles of driving with the original type of Bentley axle shaft before failure occurred and I think that this is the record for this type of shaft and that it substantiates my theory that many of the breakages were due to sheer ham-handed driving.
