Please note that the minimum positive clearance between the bronze eccentric and the bearing working on same should be .002". Limits should be arranged to make the maximum .003". This modification is an improvement, and our drawings should be corrected at once. Our original amount of .0005" minimum is obvious-ly insufficient for a bronze bush working inside a steel rod. This is a point which should be carefully watched in future, as obviously allowance will have to be made for the increased expansion of the bronze over the steel in arriving at the working clearance.
