X.4214 To HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/LG1.12.23. RE. HISPANO-SUIZA. X.4214. With reference to the particulars of the Hispano-Suiza brakes you have recently sent us we wonder if you could add exact particulars of the cam. We have checked the motions you give and though they are not bad they are a little irregular. We want this reason information to check the braking do forces. For this reason it would be interesting if you could tell us the present position of the cam when brakes are just in engagement. We should also like particulars of the 'servo' mechanism. At present we have only a patent contemplating drawing which is not necessarily accurate. We are contemplating making a 'servo motor of this type for EAC.1. and therefore the information would be valuable at the present minute. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
