Dear Howlett, Many thanks for your letter of the 7th. March. The answers to your questions are as follows:- (1) We find that we do not have to locate the top half of the bearing as long as we dowel the bottom half. (2) We agree that, though we have run bearings without a chamfer at the ends, we would be better with a small radius. Will you therefore, please give us a .010 chamfer. Yours sincerely, | ||
