RE. CHASSIS GSK-76 SPEEDOMETER DRIVE.

This trouble occurred originally on the 3-speed box speedometer drives and has been corrected by the drilling of suitable oil return holes in our drive unit.

This particular chassis however has a 4-speed box with a different type of speedometer drive. Only three cases of this trouble have been known and in each case it has not been possible to obtain the parts in order to examine them, owing to the fact that the cars have been a long way from the Works.

We cannot reproduce the effect on our own 20 HP. cars. We have asked the Repair Dept. to advise us of any further complaint and to let us have an opportunity of examining the parts. Owing to lack of evidence, it is impossible at the moment to prescribe any cure.
