Dear Professor Finch, I should be very interested to know how your experiments have progressed with regard to battery ignition. You will be interested to know that following our conference at the Air Ministry some considerable time ago we have equipped an engine with battery ignition and the same is now at Farnborough. I should particularly like to have your opinion as to whether the capacity component of a usual normal battery ignition spark is greater in magnitude than that obtained from a magneto. Any information you can give me in regard to your up-to-date development of battery ignition would be extremely helpful. Yours | ||
