Outlining remarks and procedures for a new type of List of Parts (LOP) for experimental schemes.

Inaccordance with your request, we have prepared a new type LOP. for schemes during their experimental stage. We enclose the original together with 1 blueprint for your comments. We should like to make the following remarks:- 1. We consider it adviseable for the list of parts to have the same number as the Scheme to which the drawings are detailed. 2. In the event of more that 1 scheme being involved, the list of parts will have all scheme numbers on, and copies filed under each in our cabinets. This will enable a Draughtsman to refer to a draw and pick up a complete list of parts to any scheme for which he has the number. This will cut out searching through files. 3. The card index system for schemes that is in existance shows clearly as to whether it has been detailed. In this case it is then known that there is an Exp: LOP. to the same number. 4. In the remarks column we shall state any similar LOP. to which referance can be made for remainder of standard parts to be used. 5. For production a new complete LOP. would be issued. 6.
