W.R. 291 A (100 T) (N P 846, 6-8-19) (4-2480) X.19186. D/BP. from Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} c.to D/WFH. c.to D/Chat. c.to BP c.to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}2/NJ16.3.20. Re Sparking Plugs. Please look up my note Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}8/NJ16.1.20. to D/WFH. (copy to D/BP) headed "KLG. 18 m/m.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} 3 point R.4 type Sparking Plugs made by the Robinhood Engineering Works Ltd". Since said letter was written, I have decided that all defective KLG. R.4 type plugs discarded by BP. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and any of our Depots, shall be kept in our Stores here until the Robinhood Engineering Works Ltd. are in a position to supply us with a sparking plug which meets our requirements and we will then call upon them to fulfil their undertaking to replace the defective plugs by plugs of the pattern which meets our needs. In the meantime I have undertaken that all defective KLG. sparking plugs returned to our Stores from Lillieshall Depot shall be replaced by Lodge plugs of the standard pattern now in use. I regret that you have not been advised of this under-taking. I am to-day addressing a further note on the subject to D/WFH. and to D/Chat. and will send you a copy. Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} | ||
