Gleason Works. -2- 4th. October 1938. We cannot agree that a 9 1/2" ring gear is necessary, or our 12 cylinder axle would not function. We should like to have your views on whether more teeth in the pinion would be an improvement, i.e. 10/46 instead of 8/37. Is it true that Buicks are using a spiral angle of 42° this year ?
