We consider there is no harm likely to arise form fitting the plain thrust washer to exsisting cars. As regards a permanent design, Mr. Royce might consider some modification necessary.

We have now sent out standardisation sheets for the pivot pins to be made with a slow taper and we think this should avoid the only risk we can forsee with the plain thrust on the pivot.
