| 261 To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Derby, 29.10.36. I have looked at Raymond May's car. The pointer has been bent right away from the clutch and cannot be restored to its correct position without risk of damaging it. As we take our measurement at this point we cannot give you a figure for the lift. If feels as bad as, or worse than 6.B.IV when .020" was reported. I have seen Mr.Clough in By's absence also Mr.Swift and he sent me on to the Foreman who deals with Phantom III oil level indicators, so all concerned now know about it. I have got the new rocker ball ends. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/I.M.Waller. Returned to London. | ||
