H.R. 235A (500 T) (S.D. 408. 26-4-17.) Bm. 2/156/13. Comtd:- Officials who have to sell the cars, might give their opinions whether piston knocks can be accepted. X.762+ (2) SHOCK ABSORBERS 7-CA. is fitted with Trauffault Shock Absorbers. It has been decided that Shock Absorbers which work in the same way as these shall be fitted to the After-the-war-chassis. We remember seeing a sketch of a shock absorber from Mr. Royce in which a number of friction plates were used with varying amounts of slack in the slpts in the plates. We have tried never had any instructions to make any of these shock absorbers. We suggest that as the "Traufault" shock absorber gives such great improvement in the riding of the car, an attempt should be made to get some similar type in hand to suit our chassis. | ||
