-2- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/KW.15.4.36. (10) Starting Up. With the choke fully closed it is necessary to run the engine very fast in order to keep it going. This gives one the impression that the choke spring may be so strong that no air is let in until the engine is running at a good speed. We ought to check over and see if we can reduce the strength of the choke spring without interfering with starting up. (11) Throttle Closing. There seems to be some slight indefiniteness about the throttle position when it is closed gently. Please check this over and see whether the throttle sticks at all when closed in this manner and if so, what causes the trouble.
