EFC. FROM E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} C. to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} re. DYNAMOS. We are of the opinion that it would be worth while obtaining a standard Lucas 3rd. brush dynamo with a view to testing its output and analysing the machine generally for comparison with our own. SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} would like you to do this. We do not say the Lucas is a better dynamo than our own but we know that the samples of which we have experience appear to possess characteristics which are well suited to present day needs. We refer to ability to cut in early and at the same time maintain a high degree of charge at maximum speed. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
