EPC.X.36/3.RE "BUZZARD" OIL PUMP.
X3784

We send you herewith drawing No. Lec.1258 shewing the scheme for the "Buzzard" Oil Pump and Connections to wheelcase and oil filter.

The pump casing is of die-cast aluminium, as also is the cover.

A new form of union nut which has advantages not possessed by existing forms, is used in dealing with the oil pipe connections to the pump. This same union has been applied to the connections to the strainer pipe, and this alters our scheme No. Lec.1216.

The straight pipe within the crankcase in scheme Lec.1216 should be made of steel. The external piping should be in copper.

We hope to send you a drawing giving the final form of the wheelcase, and incorporating the various units that have been schemed.

We should be glad if you would let us have a blue print of Lec.1258 as soon as you possibly can, as we shall urgently require this at the beginning of next week.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
