& ebonite separators would be fitted as a combination they contain wood only, which are insufficient in themselves to give good insulation until the battery fails from some other source.
These cheaper batteries would only give approx. half the life of our present type.
We have spent several years experimenting with batteries & consider we now have the best battery obtainable for our cars which has resulted from the cooperation of ourselves & the makers thus giving us the maximum capacity in the minimum of space without losing efficiency or life.
With regard to the layout of the cells we have no objection to the all in line layout or the present std: & we are of the opinion it is much nicer to handle the battery in one unit, & we have found no (cont'd)
