MERLIN - FUTURE DEVELOPMENT

Hele-Shaw Airscrew - Mod to crankcase top half. Completed 10.6.36.
Inner needle roller blade bearing, for test purposes only. (R.R.Hele-Shaw) Completed 17.6.36.
Hele-Shaw Airscrew - Mod to crankcase oil drilling. Completed 25.6.36.
-do- - Mod to cylinder head and induction pipe manifold to clear Hele-Shaw oil pipe. Completed 27.6.36.
-do- - Layout of oil pipes. In hand.
Modification to valve timing. Completed 19.6.36.
Modified oil feed to petrol pump. Completed 2.7.36.
Increased capacity roller bearing - upper vertical drive. In hand.
Controls and pipe work for Hobson carburetter. In hand.
Alternative cylinder construction with clamped liner. Put aside.
Farman 2-speed supercharger - investigation of clutch particulars obtained from Farman's. Completed.
-do- induction elbow and supercharger casings. Completed 6.6.36.
-do- ignition wiring conduit. Completed.
-do- revised operating mechanism. Completed 2.7.36.
-do- vent and water drain pipes. Completed 2.7.36.
