PISTON.

Please find attached a blue print of drawing LeC.2036 shewing a 20 HP. piston with a stronger diagonal web on the saw cut side, and a larger hole for saw cut arranged close to this web in all respects similar to the revised EAC. piston.

At the same time since we understand that the 20 HP. is rather inclined than otherwise to over-oiling, we have shewn the multiple scraper scheme for the piston rings. We do not suggest that this modification should be incorporated straight away in the India specification, but that it should go forward in the usual way as an improvement.
