Dear Sirs,

We are in receipt of your letter of July 7th with regard to the use of your sparking plugs on our engine.

We regret we are unable to let you have a letter saying that this sparking plug is suitable for our Kestrel engine, as the tests we have made are insufficient for this purpose although they have proved to be encouraging as far as they have been carried out.

We are afraid we cannot make any promise to test your plugs which you kindly offer to send to us. We can only say that if you sent us the plugs we would test them if we could conveniently fit the testing in with the other work we have in hand.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
