We recommend that the wedges now running on Trials cars to tilt the carburetter should not be put on production. We are of the opinion that this modification should be obtained by machining the flange on the induction pipe at an angle, and as soon as it is possible to do this it should be standardised. In the meantime, the Trials cars will be continuing to get experience with carburetters at an angle. There is no necessity to change the jets until the carburetters are tilted.
