Messrs. Smith's Jacking Systems Ltd.,
Edgware Road,
Cricklewood,
LONDON, N.W.2.

For the attention of D.W.Sessions, Esq.

Dear Sirs,

We sent off to you yesterday some aluminium bronze jack brackets for the six jacks you are making for us. We hope to receive these jacks as soon as possible.

In connection with our suggestion to you that the filler should be on top of the reservoir, we have noticed during the last few days' hot weather that apparently the air left in the jack expands, pushing the foot out an inch or so. Our suggested filler at the top would get over this trouble.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
