FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} C. to HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ORIGINAL DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}2/M5.7.28. INDIA 3. STEP-IRONS. Y5390 Herewith we send N. sch. 2644. - intermediate step-iron, and N. sch. 2645. - rear step-iron, which have been reset to suit the lower position of the frame. For the moment we agree to taking existing pressings and rebending them. In order to use these pressings we have shewn a length of 14.825", but as we consider the 20HP. step-irons are now very short we should like this dimension increased to 16" as soon as it becomes possible.
