This visit was the sequel to the one paid by Mr. Lucas on November 23rd., with further proposals and discussions on the prices of various items. R.100 HEADLAMPS. We have already received a reduction in price of £1 per pair, and for small quantities on the Phantom III, it has been agreed to continue with the present lamp, and that when we introduce on that lamp the Lucas springe, there will be no change in the price. 3 LAMP NON-DIPPING PROPOSAL. A figure of £5 was given to Mr. Lucas as a target to aim at, and for this sum we can have :- Plain Reflector, Moulded Glass and no Hinge. Since we do not like moulded glass and plain reflectors, we propose to add :- Stri-rated Reflector ............ 7s. 6d. Based on 1000 sets, and this price shows a saving of 7s. 6d. per pair. Motif on front rim ................ 2s. 9d. Basic price of pair of lamps ....... £5. 0. 0. Total ............ £5.10. 3. per pair. These lamps will have fixed reflectors and be used in conjunction with the LB.140 Centre Lamp Body, which with a new rim on it, motif, dipper and moulded glass is estimated to cost £1.10.0d. -Contd- | ||
