Description of Parts: FRONT SPRINGS, BRACKETS AND SHACKLES.
Origin: To suit front wheel brakes.

Experimental Test Report:
The front springs are made by Firths - they are 43" long. The spring is anchored at the rear end and shackled in front. Front springs 25% stiffer than present standard.

Road Test Report:
Run 10,000 miles in France on 98-NK car.
Run 4500 miles in France on 9-PK car.
Run on 35-PK, 92-NK and 46-PK in England to tal of 6700 miles - no trouble and no spring failures.
Run 25 hrs. on bump tests - results better than standard.

Action Box:
A: Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to customers.

D: Use existing stock Alteration effective on future Chassis
