Y1d091 Sr.(Paris) From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.2/MA.24.9.34. Re. OPERATION OF HORNS AT NIGHT TIME. Referring to your Sr/EWP.{Mr Punt}3/MLG.21.9.34., your suggestion regarding the dual use of the horn button has actually been done and Messrs. Lucas market a bery neat switch for this purpose. We have suggested the scheme but opinion is very much divided as to the advisability of the same owing to the fact there is always the possibility of the driver forgetting to switch back again in the morning and possibly arriving at an emergency without the use of his horn.
