Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Clan Foundry G/WFH/CA.24/ER.18.6.40 We have an invoice from James Chesterman & Co.Ltd dated 29th May, on which we are charged £1.2.6d plus 25% plus 8d carriage for 1- No.48 straight edge 60" which they say was sent on the Clan Foundry in response to telephone instructions. As we have not yet been able to discover anything about this straight edge, will you kindly have same looked into with a view to providing Roy{Sir Henry Royce} with the necessary instructions to have a covering order issued.
