X7800 G/WFH. from EFC. EFC5/AD1 3.2.30. Answering your G/WFH/CA6/KHL1.2.30. We did not expect to be charged full price for these lamps because they were supplied to us as replacements for a pair of lamps which we returned with certain complaints of faults as referred to in our letter EFC1/AD. of the 23rd October 1929. This matter was taken up verbally with Mr.Thauker of Messrs. Lucas during his visit to us recently, and it was understood that we should not be charged for the lamps in question. The matter was somewhat complicated by the fact that the first pair of replacement lamps which Messrs. Lucas sent to us were not of the type required and had to be returned, this taking place between the return by us of the original faulty lamps and the receipt of the final pair of lamps which were satisfactory for our purpose. We possess a Lucas credit note indicating that there was no charge for the intermediate pair of lamps which were sent in error. EFC. | ||
